All investment decisions are made in accordance with our investment philosophy.

This essentially consists of 3 principles:

Active management: In our opinion, markets are never efficient at all times. We systematically use these market inefficiencies to our advantage.

Quantitative processes: The entire investment process of Siemens Fonds Invest is defined by quantitative processes. This means that all investment decisions are made in a structured, disciplined and systematic manner at all times.

Integrated risk management: In addition to income forecasts, individual risk parameters also determine the portfolio construction at all times.

History

More than 30 years since its foundation

  • In the 1980s, Siemens began in-house asset management, in particular the management of fixed-income securities
  • In 1992, Siemens Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH (SKAG) was founded as a company independent of banks and insurance companies; start of equity management in the Siemens Group
  • In 1997, SKAG is integrated into Siemens Financial Services GmbH
  • The first retail fund is launched in 1999
  • In 2013, SKAG is renamed Siemens Fonds Invest GmbH (SFI)

In addition to collective asset management, Siemens Fonds Invest GmbH also provides portfolio management services for third-party investment funds (financial portfolio management) to a limited extent. In accordance with Article 3 (1) of EU Delegated Regulation No. 2017/576, it publishes information annually - as part of the financial portfolio management - on the 5 trading partners (brokers) that were most important for the settlement of trading transactions for non-group institutional clients based on trading volume, as well as an annual report on the evaluation of execution quality in accordance with Article 3 (3) of EU Delegated Regulation No. 2017/576.
